Day 6: Vera Wang, Rosa Cha, Herve Leger, and more
Today is another fascinating one, and busy-as-busy-can be at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week!
On Katrina’s agenda today:
7+ Shows/Presentations: Vera Wang, Rosa Cha, Herve Leger by Max Azria, Alice Temperley, Tibi, Luca Luca, and Narciso Rodriguez
7+ Backstage interviews (which can be found on PinkMemo.com): Alexandre Herchcovitch (a Brazilian fashion designer), supermodel Chanel Iman, hair legend Ric Pepino, Bibhu Mohapatra (a India-born designer), Max Azria, Alice Temperley, and Amy Smilovic of Tibi
To look fabulous for all of these many events, Katrina outfitted herself in the below Aquascutum dress, which she found through Shop It To Me, on theOutnet for, believe-it-or-not, 75%-off!
**Vera Wang show: **Beehives dominated Vera Wang’s runway…as did black booties, sculptural shapes, knotted black rope belts and modified harem pants.
Then, Katrina headed backstage at Bibhu Mohapatra, who was shooting his lookbook prior to his S/S presentation (styled by Lauren Santo Domingo).

From there, it was off to backstage at Rosa Cha:
Katrina said, “Here the models don their sexy suits before the Rosa Cha show. Ric Pepino told me the hair is inspired by Brazilian party girls … what their hair would look like the day after a night on the town.”

And, it’s showtime!
The suspense and energy that comes with the removal of the plastic runway covering at Rosa Cha…
…show is about to begin!
First look: Chanel Iman
Katrina said, “Chanel told me she is “obsessed” with this bikini.”

**And then, off to Herve Leger by Max Azria. ** Should we expect to see more of the infamous ‘bandage-dress’?

The answer is no! Looser and more flowy than usual!
Katrina said, “Love the not tight-all-over silhouette…not the norm at Herve Leger…I love this dress!”
“The best Herve Leger collection from Max Azria yet! Loved it.”
And, the night is young…
